Whitley Community singers ages 8-13 are encouraged to register for Choralfest Camp and participate in all of the creative activities mentioned above. Daily transportation to/from Purdue Fort Wayne will be available to Whitley Community singers. Please indicate on your registration form if you would be part of the Whitley Community Children’s Choir and further details will be provided to you about the daily schedule and transportation options.
Choralfest Camp is open to all students no matter their experience or ability, however a 30-minute vocal assessment is required for all participants.
Camper Vocal Assessments
During Choralfest Camp, campers will be placed into one of five choral groups. Each group seeks to pair campers of similar ages and vocal music experience. Choralfest Camp is open to all students no matter their experience or ability, however it is important that each camper participates in a short 30-minute vocal assessment prior to camp so they are placed in the most appropriate choral group. There are several dates and times offered for camper vocal assessments throughout the spring and early summer. During the camper assessment, parents will have the opportunity to chat with FWCC staff regarding camp specifics and details about joining the FWCC 2025-2026 season in the fall. When completing your camper’s registration, please make sure to also register for a vocal assessment appointment.
