Madison Boyden

Madison Boyden, MT-BC is a board- certified music therapist in the Fort Wayne community. She received her Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy degree from Purdue University Fort Wayne in May of 2021. Madison completed her internship at Spectrum Creative Arts, a community arts education and therapy center, located in Rochester, New York. Throughout internship, she supported a wide range of individuals in individual and group music therapy sessions, school based music therapy sessions, ensembles, group classes, and through adaptive music lessons, while also being immersed in other creative art forms. Madison has experience working with adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, pediatrics, medically complex individuals, older adults, and women in recovery. She currently primarily supports individuals in a local adult day service program.
Madison discovered her passion for music therapy and community outreach as a student and wrote an article entitled “Singing Through Change: A Community Engagement Project for Women in Recovery Performing with the Purdue Fort Wayne Choral Union”, which is published in the Purdue Journal of Service Learning and International Engagement. Madison feels privileged to be able to build relationships and support others through music on a daily basis and is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the FWCC.
