Michele Platte

Michele is a proud Fort Wayne native with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing and Management from the Illinois Institute of Art. Locally, her professional career has taken her through various roles in marketing, media coordination, and graphic design at the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. In 2015, supporting her family and community became her focus in her most rewarding role as a stay-at-home mom.

Michele is excited to return to work part-time as the Operations Coordinator for the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir, where her two children are singers. For 20 years, she’s been married to her high school sweetheart, Alex, and together they are passionate about nurturing the creative expression of children and supporting the vibrant music community that Fort Wayne has to offer.

In her free time you can find her thrifting for unique finds, diving into jigsaw puzzles, reading a good book, singing in her church choir, or volunteering at her kids’ school.
